What is #mypledge?

#mypledge is a movement to show gratitude. We're encouraging people to record a video thanking someone who supported them when they needed it most, and pledging to pay it forward to the next generation.

Why #mypledge matters

Everyone has challenges to overcome and sometimes we need help to get through difficult moments in life. When we support our communities and show gratitude for others, it positively impacts our own mental health.

#mypledge is about opening up important conversations, giving thanks to the people who supported us and pledging to give that help to the next generation.

How it works

Participating in #mypledge is easy! Just follow these three simple steps:

1. Pledge: Complete the form below to make your pledge.

2. Record: Film a 30 to 60 second video of yourself sharing a story of someone who supported you and how you'll pledge to pay it forward.

3. Share: Use our share links to post on social media with the hashtag #mypledge, and RBC Capital Markets will donate $5* for each video to DoSomething.org!

What should your pledge video include?
